Los Arcos operates from a housing waitlist. Applicants must first submit an application and meet the eligibility requirements to be approved. Wait times can vary significantly, from approx. 5 months to several years depending on apartment availability. Based on our current rent of $1,567, applicants should have a monthly income of approx. 1.5 to 2x's the rent, roughly $2,350+ per month. Applicants must also fall below the maximum annual income limits to qualify for affordable housing: 1-person household: $61,250 / 2-person household: $70,000 Los Arcos is a two-story, 82-Unit Affordable Housing community for seniors age 55+. Our comfortable one-bedroom apartments are designed for independent living and feature full kitchens, bathrooms with safety features, individually controlled heating and air conditioning, emergency call systems, window treatments, and smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Residents enjoy a secure, smoke-free community with controlled building access, two elevators, climate-controlled interior hallways, on-site management and maintenance, and a Service Coordinator available to help connect residents with helpful community resources. Community amenities include two beautiful interior courtyards with gazebos, an exercise room, community and media rooms, arts & crafts and barber shop alcoves, library and seating areas, indoor mailboxes, and laundry and trash rooms on both floors. Resident-organized activities include Tai Chi, chair yoga, bingo, game nights, Bible study, quarterly birthday celebrations, holiday events. We also host a monthly farmers market food donation free to all residents, and offer convenient, low-cost haircuts on-site each month.
