We are selling our home of more than 50 years. It is an old house dating from the early 20th century. We have kept up with repairs and upgrades because I expected to be in it forever. When we were married we added the bedroom-bath section to the east end. Years later we added the west section providing a separate dining room and opening the kitchen to its present glorious size permitting socializing during dinner preparation. The barn was completely reworked to provide an office and library allowing me to edit an international scientific journal. It is heated in two zones that usually leaves the library quite cool in the winter while the office is cozy. The library has a wood-burning stove for extra warmth. To insulate the barn, an outer layer of paneling was added with insulation between the two layers. A bathroom and kitchenette were added.There is a sleeping loft.
