Dear Potential Home Buyer, Welcome to our home. When we first entered the house, we knew it was the one as soon as we walked in. It opens up to a spacious deck with most rooms facing a picturesque backyard where we see often families of animals that we used to only see in zoos. We remember our first night, enjoying the deafening silence that we only dreamed of when we lived in a big city. This is very much a small community. You can keep to yourself and have privacy amidst the trees but within minutes you can access a bustling town of just the right size. You can see only one other home from the backyard windows where a couple and their 3 small children live. Our neighbor to the left is a retired couple and the homes behind us on Iron Gate Hill include families of various sizes. We love the location: 2 mile walk to the cannons at the end of Compo beach, 5 minute drive to the Westport or Greens Farms train station, 5 minute drive to downtown Westport, 5 minute drive to Longshore golf course, swimming pool and sailing school and 10 minute drive to Saugatuck, Bedford & Staples schools. There is a pre-school a half mile away as well. We barely knew Westport when we moved in but we now see how fortunate we were that we chose well.
