Things we love about 175 Range Road, Wilton….. It’s a charming country cottage incorporating the site of a small 19th century barn that was reimagined, expanded and rebuilt by local architect, Rob Sanders (who lives across the street). It offers easy access to town, trains, I-95 and the Merritt. Sited in a stretch of 19th century homes that once comprised the Feltham Farm on Range Road, it offers beautiful views with amazing sunrises. The antique front door opens to a lovely entry hall with two large closets on either side. The architect designed kitchen with cathedral ceiling and original floor to ceiling stone fireplace is exceptional. Appliances are Energy Star. The recessed lighting is heightened with spot lights and under cabinetry lights. The kitchen and living room feature surround sound. All Christmas decorations are stored in the large closet under the stairs, so it is not necessary to carrying boxes up and down from the attic. The stairs to the second floor have a landing enhanced by French Doors which open to the exterior, creating an opportunity for a terrace. The second floor has a charming loft overlooking the kitchen.
