R3
Residential Limited Multifamily District
The Residential, Limited Multifamily District R-3 is composed of certain higher density residential areas plus additional open area where it is likely and desirable to extend such type of development. Due to the higher than average concentrations of persons or vehicles, these districts are situated where they are well served by public and commercial services and have convenient access to thoroughfares and collector streets. Site area requirements are graduated to reflect the relative need for open space of the various types of buildings based on expected parking and population density.; Zero lot line units (wholly detached units) may be developed for individual ownership when it can be shown to the town staff that adequate provisions have been made for access and maintenance along a common lot line.
