Stonecrest, located between I-20 and Panola Mountain State Park, is a suburban and commercial Stonecrest neighborhood with big-box retail corridors and wooded greenways. The neighborhood’s energy concentrates around Mall Parkway and Turner Hill Road, where storefront plazas, casual eateries, and service shops line wide boulevards. The Mall at Stonecrest serves as a central gathering spot, while Lithonia Amphitheater brings live performances to nearby evenings. Residential streets feature late-20th-century subdivisions with brick-front homes and cul-de-sacs. Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area adds trailheads, granite outcrops, and seasonal wildflowers to the local landscape. Parks and recreation centers round out a lifestyle shaped by driving routes and outdoor escapes.
