Breath taking and amazing! That is the best way to describe this home. This custom built oasis is being offered on the market for the first time ever. This home was designed by renowned Hilton Head architect Kurt Herrman, and reflects the island's character by incorporating elements of organic architecture. It was ahead of its time when it was built and constructed better than most homes of the era. The 4 bedroom 3 1/2 bath home sits atop Mount Alto on Brow Road and has a 1.6 acre lot. There are 360 degree views for as far as the eye can see. The sun rises can be enjoyed every morning on your expansive covered deck and you can catch it setting in the evenings in the front. The professional landscaping tops off your visual enjoyment with several different blooming plants throughout all seasons. Part of the back yard is fenced and there is plenty of room for a pool. Heading inside you will find a split bedroom plan great for families. On the right side of the home off the garage entrance there are two bedrooms that each have their own bathroom, a large laundry room, kitchen and den area. The kitchen and Den area have large windows with a Southeastern view. This view can be enjoyed from the den area in front of the first masonry fireplace. The center of the home features a dinning area and living room that has a second masonry fireplace. Both areas also feature the large windows with a Southeastern view. The Master suite, 1/2 bath, and 4th bedroom or office, are on the left side of the home. The Master bedroom was designed to sit at the front of the home to take advantage of the evening sunsets with its Northwestern views. The left side and center of the home sits atop an unfinished basement that has stubbed plumbing for an additional bath. The home has been very well maintained and is as solid as a house can be. This property is really special and rare. All the features this home has can only be found in a few homes in Floyd County. With a few updates the new owners would have instant equity in a really unique one of a kind home.
