Zoning
A-1
Agricultural District
The A-1 agriculture district is established primarily to encourage the development of suitable areas for common farm practices, dairying, forestry operations, various compatible non-farm uses, preservation of open space, the conservation and management of soil, water, air, game, and other natural resources and amenities, and to discourage the creation of conditions which could distract from the functioning, operation, and appearance of areas providing food supplies, and also to prevent or to minimize conflicts between common farm practices and non-farm uses.
