Neighborhood Commercial District
The C-1 Neighborhood Commercial District is intended to provide for areas of the community which are suitable for a commercial development and are adjacent to Residence Districts and in which such commercial uses are permitted as are normally required for the daily local retail business needs of the residents of the locality only. Any outside storage of materials or equipment shall be limited and clearly incidental and accessory to the Principal Permitted Use, and shall not include the outside storage of junk or salvage material or similar debris. Outside storage of materials or equipment shall not be permitted in a front yard. This provision shall not restrict the outside storage of licensed and operable vehicles that are accessory and clearly incidental to the Principal Permitted Use, and shall not restrict outside display areas when such display areas display items that can be legally sold by a commercial business on the property and when the display area does not exceed an area equal to the area occupied by the buildings on a property.
