Agricultural District
The carrying out of agricultural activities has long been, and continues to be, an important part of the way of life for Clinton County residents, and such activities provide a large portion of the income derived by the County’s population. Thus, to promote and protect this mainstay of the local economy, it has been established as official policy that the County should protect, preserve, and encourage the pursuit of agriculture by its residents.
