About this home
Tucked away 2 miles down a quiet country road, you'll find 3.15 acres of unrestricted property to call your own. This raw acreage located deep in the historic Cowee Valley area of Franklin is perfect for those adventurers looking to get away from it all. Although it appears steep from the road, once you get up onto the property, you'll find that it rolls nicely and once cleared would have a great spot to build your dream home or cabin, bring in a tiny home or create an RV pad. With a new survey and perc test on file, and overhead electric in the area, you've got the makings of a quiet mountain getaway. Access to the property is not steep and well-maintained and nearby is USFS Road 70 - Cowee Bald Road - which is the primary, high-elevation route leading to the Cowee Bald Lookout Tower. Located in the Nantahala National Forest, this gravel road provides access to panoramic views, reaching elevations of over 4900' and acts as a key route for hiking and scenic drives in the area. Bring your imagination and make your mountain dreams come true!
