609 Jabbertown Rd, Southport, NC 28461

Your Chance to live near the historic downtown area ! This 1930's Southport Home is being sold, ''As Is''. The Parker/Moore home is from 1930, and the family believes that the bones of this house are strong enough for someone to take this on as a fixer-upper or a 'flip-it' property. There is nothing else in Southport for sale at this price ! The home sits outside of the city limits, so an investor could possibly use the home on Airbnb, on VRBO or as a short term rental. The potential in this home is tremendous ! You can take a street legal golf cart from the location all the way down to the river front park, the restaurants, shopping, coffee shops and the Yacht Basin. The home has 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, a family area, a dining room and a kitchen on the back of the house. Everyone would love to see this home restored to the dignity it once held for this remarkable local family. The earliest record of the home was when it was built in 1930, the two living descendants remember it moved from the site of the old Duke Power Visitor center area to it's present day location around 1961-1965. There is no power in the home at this time. The new owner will have to apply for power from the City of Southport after closing and Brunswick Electric will be the utilities at this address. The home will need a complete clean-out by the new owner before renovations can begin. This home is being sold, ''As Is'' with no repairs or allowances made by the family.
