The purpose of the A-1 Agricultural District is to protect land best suited for agricultural uses from the encroachment of other land uses and to preserve valuable agricultural land for agricultural uses and related activities. The purpose of the A-1 District is to recognize the long-range physical, social and economic needs of the agricultural community within Sugarcreek Township.
