About West
Beaverton
West Beaverton, located between Beaverton Creek and the Tualatin Hills Nature Park, is a residential and commercial Beaverton neighborhood with a wooded greenbelt feel and a practical, transit-linked street grid. The neighborhood’s character concentrates around the Cedar Hills Blvd & SW Walker Rd crossroads, where cafés, small eateries, and everyday services cluster in a steady hum. Mid-century ranch homes and newer townhome pockets sit alongside low-rise apartments, with tall firs and creek corridors softening the edges. Cedar Hills Crossing adds a walkable errand loop, while nearby trails shape a weekend rhythm. Local pillars like BG Food Cartel, Raindrop Taphouse, and the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts give the area a distinctly Beaverton voice.
