Residential Neighborhood Zone

The Residential Neighborhood RN zone applies to lands within Residential Neighborhood Comprehensive Plan Map designation. The RN zone is a Planned Development zone, subject to applicable Planned Development regulations, except as superseded by this section or in legislative master plans. The purposes of the RN Zone are to: Implement the Residential Neighborhood policies and implementation measures of the Comprehensive Plan.B.Implement legislative master plans for areas within the Residential Neighborhood Comprehensive Plan Map designation.; Create attractive and connected neighborhoods in Wilsonville.; Regulate and coordinate development to result in cohesive neighborhoods that include: walkable and active streets; a variety of housing appropriate to each neighborhood; connected paths and open spaces; parks and other non-residential uses that are focal points for the community; and, connections to and integration with the larger Wilsonville community.; Encourage and require quality architectural and community design as defined by the Comprehensive Plan and applicable legislative master plans; Provide transportation choices, including active transportation options.; Preserve and enhance natural resources so that they are an asset to the neighborhoods, and there is visual and physical access to nature.; Create housing opportunities for a variety of households, including housing types that implement the Wilsonville Equitable Housing Strategic Plan and housing affordability provisions of legislative master plans.
