Limited Multiple Use District

In addition to the general goals listed in the Purposes section102 and Community Development Objectives section103 of this Ordinance, the purposes of this Section are: To provide spaces in appropriate locations for certain uses permitted in both the R-M and C-2 Districts.; To encourage medium to high density residential development in areas which are easily accessible to major highways, commercial areas and utilities.; To fulfill the purposes of this district, density standards have been incorporated which, among other things, provide for medium to high density Dwelling uses and permit well designed Multi-Family Developments which contain a variety of housing types.; To provide sufficient space in appropriate locations for various types of commercial, office and service establishments; To provide appropriate space for the requirements of such uses, including the provision of off-Street parking spaces and safe circulation of pedestrian and motor traffic.; To promote the most desirable use of, and pattern of, building development in accordance with a well-considered plan.; To conserve the value of land and buildings.
