A1
Exclusive Agricultural District
The purpose of the A-1 District is to provide a means of obtaining the agricultural goals and objectives of the Comprehensive Plan. This district exclusively provides for agricultural uses and uses compatible with agriculture. The intent of this district is to maintain highly productive agricultural lands in food and fiber production by effectively limiting encroachment of non-agricultural development while minimizing land use conflicts among incompatible uses and to be eligible for the state of Wisconsin Farmland Preservation Program.
