Zoning
A1
Agricultural District 1
The purpose of the A-1 District is to provide a means of obtaining the agricultural goals and objectives of the Town's Comprehensive Plan. This district exclusively provides for agricultural uses and uses compatible with agriculture. The intent of having this district is to conserve prime agricultural soils, historically farmed soils and prevent uncontrolled, uneconomical spread of residential development which results in excessive costs to the community for the provisions of essential public services and to be eligible for the State of Wisconsin Farmland Preservation Program.
