CON
Conservancy District
This District is intended to identify, protect, and preserve lands that are environmentally unique, fragile, or important. Areas where this District is intended to be applied include, but are not limited to, wetlands and hydric soils, floodways as determined on the FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps, shorelines, natural drainage ways, steep slopes greater than 12 percent where appropriate, certain forested lands as designated by adopted Town Comprehensive Plan and Zoning maps, and certain parks and other publicly owned lands providing opportunities for recreation and management of wildlife habitat.
