Kevin is the reason I went with Redfin Mortgage. He is incredibly knowledgable, thoughtful, patient, transparent, and passionate about helping people turn their home ownership dreams into reality. He has a gift for translating "loan officer speak" into layman's terms and is noticeably more protective of his clients best interest than anyone else I've ever worked with. I got quotes from 4 different lenders and decided to work with Redfin because I felt like my money was in safer hands working with him. On several occasions I would ask each lender the same question and Kevin was the only person who answered in detail and to an extent that left me with a sense of clarity. He also pointed out differences in the fees associated with closing costs that helped me better appreciate the nuances of every quote, and discern for myself which lender would be the best financial fit for my home loan needs. There were hiccups towards the end that were beyond Kevin's control, but even throughout that process, he remained supportive of MY end goal of getting the house and even offered to help me sort out a contingency plan. Thankfully, it wasn't necessary, but the most memorable part of that experience was Kevin's irrefutable character unwavering care for his clients. I have already recommended him to friends and hope to work with him again one day.

Kevin and his team are great. I had talked to two other companies before I found Redfin Mortgage. I was "prequlified" but learned when I went to make an offer that this is not the same as being preapproved for a mortgage. I was worried I would miss my chance at a great house when I sent an application to Kevin's team on a Saturday. Within a few minutes, I got an email with steps to complete preapproval. Within an hour, I was preapproved. I was able to make an offer and got the house. Kevin and his team made a complicated process so much easier.
