Not only were they detail oriented and fast in processing our loan but also made sure we felt supported and informed throughout the transaction. The extent of how organized the team is became evident to us during our first call with Yolanda after our offer was accepted - she essentially backed into the day-by-day timeline, deliverables at each step and expectations from us and the lender so clearly that we felt reassured we were in the right hands for financing our purchase. During this transaction, we ran into some unforeseen circumstances that warranted both parties to talk through some pretty gnarly issues and James supported us and helped us absorb those fluctuations within the original committed timeline to close - something we've not seen any other lender offer or be willing to commit to. James was very thorough during the pre-approval stage, helping us understand our chance getting the loan finally approved - even before making any offers. This upfront evaluation was extremely important in the current market where we had to waive all the contingencies, including loan contingency and appraisal contingency. The closing process went smoothly and in time, during which James and Yolanda constantly kept us updated with the progress. The best part is that the interest rate and total closing costs offered by US Bank and James Espana were the lowest of all the quotes we received. The best service quality for the best price! Their website that generates pre-approval letters was great. Their website to upload documents was okay. Their website for e-closing was emphatically terrible. Their staff often made numerous small mistakes in paperwork. They seemed like they were stuck in a soul-crushing, mad crush of inefficient, manual paperwork processes--which likely led to the disorganization and frequent errors.
