DO NOT USE ROGER PEI !!!!!!! He does not communicate, does not work with the borrower, you are afraid to ask questions to him and when you do he does not answer, he provides one word answers, and does not help in any way to the borrower, does not research to help at all, does not want to make the process easier to help borrower would rather defer it to later after funded, does not take responsibility when he makes a mistake but quicky blames the borrower instead of communicating with the borrower directly. Also does not work weekends and does not text only wants emails. Overall an awful experience. We got the loan done but it was extremely painful and thankful I was an experienced home buyer, and knew what I was doing I feel sorry for a first-time buyer with using him. DO NOT USE

HSBC, and Roger Pei in particular, was a simply amazing loan & mortgage partner -- because of their responsiveness and tenacity we were able to close on our house (after a very negative experience with another loan provider that fell through). We will be HSBC customers for a very, very long time because of their world class support on this transaction.
