I was very inexperienced with all of this but the entire staff helped me very much without making me feel incompetent.

More info upfront. For example - the fact that there were options on how long rate lock is for and associated cost differences, limits on extensions (length of time), what are the extension penalties if that happens. The float down is a great service but would have been good to know that price improvement has to be 0.25% in rate better. Communication could be a bit better. For example when we reviewed the loan agreement with someone on the team we brought up the later closing date and were not made aware of any pricing impact at that time. Then it was just added in and the change was never formally communicated to us.

Jindra knows her stuff. She makes herself available to you to answer questions. She is very knowledgeable in her field, but never made me or my spouse feel bad for asking a question that was seemingly obvious. The whole process was smooth and comfortable because Jindra and her team are amazing.

I'm a senior and the amount of paperwork was insane I feel and trying to navigate how to electronically get all this personal information was so confusing and lucky my son helped me through this painful process. The amount of personal information requested was invasive. I know you're not going to change this process because of the government involvement but I'm glad it's over and will choose to never apply for a mortgage again. The assistants did their best to help but it needs to be simplified especially for seniors.

I was referred to Jindra by my Redfin agent because I had a poor experience with my last lender. Jindra called me and got me interested enough to move forward with Bay Equity even though I felt she was just not personable. I had a hiccup during my mortgage process during the 11th hour which was entirely my fault. When I contacted Jindra, she was cold and callous. I guess because she thought I may have fudged my deal. Needless to say I closed my loan on time without any delay. I honestly feel like she changed the way she treated me because thought the deal may not go through. I don't appreciate the way I was treated. I will not recommend Bay Equity to any of my peers or acquaintances. BTW...This is not a review of Jindra's supporting team because honestly they were great. Michael and Kim really were a joy to work with. Jindra was just not friendly at all.
