Brett was outstanding in guiding us through the process of buying our first home. He was highly attentive to our concerns, addressing every question with care and fully understanding our perspective. Brett's thorough approach and clear communication helped ensure that everything within his team?s control progressed smoothly. He was always available, often responding to our calls and texts outside of regular business hours to provide updates and address questions. Brett?s extensive knowledge and resourcefulness were evident, and he worked seamlessly with our real estate agent and other parties involved. The team used a secure, industry-standard 2FA portal for document submission, which was straightforward, secure, and easy to navigate. Requirements were communicated clearly, making the process user-friendly for anyone familiar with basic digital tools. Unfortunately, there was a delay outside of Brett's control due to the appraisal process, which caused significant delays despite an additional fee paid to expedite the service. The appraiser was several weeks late, impacting our schedule, particularly as my wife?s grandmother passed away during this time, requiring last-minute adjustments to complete closing paperwork before her travel. The appraiser's lack of transparency and professionalism left us extremely dissatisfied. Given the delays and subpar quality, we hope Bay Equity will consider alternative appraisers for future clients in the Cottonwood area. We also believe a partial refund from the appraiser is warranted and hope Brett and Bay Equity can assist us in pursuing this. Overall, we are incredibly grateful for the exceptional support provided by Brett and his team and would highly recommend them to other homebuyers.
