We were referred to Bay Equity because we were on a tight timeline, and the company was 'partnered with Redfin'. Brian was attentive and answered our questions promptly on many occasions. However, we rated our experience three stars because after the purchase, we didn't receive any emails about setting up our first month's payment. Given that Bay Equity had ALL our personal information for the loan approval and then some, we were surprised to have to 1. set up an account in the portal, 2. link our bank details, and go through multi-step verification. This seemed redundant, as our previous loan company had everything set up and ready for payments.
