Lissa is a great communictor and really took control of my home purchase overall. She fought for me with underwrites, title compaines, HOA's and sellers agent. She's top notch and the real deal, I wouldn't have gotten the agreement I was looking for without her.
I have been in the business since 2008, I knew that we could close this deal successfully. It was extremely stressful and upsetting - striving to do my best for my amazing first time home buyers, while being blocked and contradicted in the start and middle of the transaction. Being told to rescind instead of getting a newly dated PSA - NOT OK. Having a Lender tell MY Buyers NOT to turn in the Earnest money(risking the deal) and beind my back no less. Unacceptable. I am the Realtor, yet the Lender was attempting to advise and do my job while working against what should have been a common goal. The CLIENT should have been the only concern - and I can confidently say I put my client first and communicated clearly. Both my Buyer and I had a fairly negative experience.....based on the demeanor and attitude of the Lender. And when I went to the manager I was able to express myself yet they supported and backed up the Lender. Rather than acknowledging what was right, it felt like excuses were made for this Lender. As the Realtor I would prefer to NEVER use Bay Equity again. However as a Redfin Agent I will give another Bay Equity Lender a chance. I have never experienced this poor of service or blatant disrespect in my career.
I will give one complimet and that is, the lender did end up doing their part to close the deal. That is the only positive comment I can make. If I could rate 0 stars I would, but the client ended up getting the home despite our very rocky communication and the non-solutions oriented Lender we had been assigned. Overall a very disappointing even shocking experience. I am looking forward to a better one.
Lissa was very informative and communicated very well. We had a conversation about our closing costs and how much money we were able to put down on the mortgage. She worked her magic and got us an interest rate we could work with and were within our budget for the closing costs and down payment.
