I worked with Brie and her associates at Belay Mortgage as a first-time homebuyer. I had myriad questions and lots of confusion around the different mortgage options, the many steps to the process of securing the loan, interest rates, insurance, and the ever-moving target of "How much house can I afford?" Brie was extremely responsive, taking my calls and answering my emails immediately anytime I had more questions or needed additional explanation about why I qualified for particular types of loans, but not others, and guidance around which were the best fit for my situation. I think she probably answered each of my questions 5-6 times, always with grace and compassion. She walked me through my closing costs in detail, estimated and actual, at least three times and helped me understand how the closing dance happens and when, which was utterly mysterious to a first-timer. I could not have been happier with her service, attentiveness, advice, and patient/friendly demeanor.
