Frustrating experience all around with the lender- we did not interact much at all with Kim, the loan officer, which is saying something. General lack of communication of the lender personnel with both us and the agent. Performance was variable and most of the time it was like pulling teeth to get a response to what was going on with the loan, confirmation that materials were received, etc. At times Kim did respond to questions/needs, at other times it was difficult to get an answer. Some of this may have been more a problem of the loan processor or underwriter. Mistakes were made on our application after we submitted correct materials. Had to constantly prod in order to keep things moving. We got an excellent rate, but I expected much better service. Left me feeling like it would have been worth it to pay a little more and not had all of the hassle that it took.
