Our escrow officer was on vacation the week of our closing, which seemed like bad planning or scheduling on the title company’s part in assigning our closing to her.
The closing process was fine, but communication was only ok throughout the process. We’ve done this before, so it wasn’t a big deal, but past title companies have been much more proactive with communicating where things are in the process.
Heritage Title did not provide the level of service I would expect from a title firm. They were cold, unprofessional, and seemed to expect me to do much of the "busy work" of the close.
