Things went smooth enough but you have to be proactive about the process. They won't tell you upfront all the specifics and when asking about more information the staff seems to have an attitude. They don't seem to like to answer questions but as a first time buyer there's a lot I don't know so wish they could've been more friendly. Also didn't have a choice in using their services and without comparison I'm not sure how others are.

We did our transaction remotely. Everything went fine, but the person they sent to have us do the signing had.... uhhh.... very, very poor hygiene and gave incorrect tax advice. We were kind of embarrassed at the office. He had a homeless kind of look to him. That being said... he didn't actually work for Chicago Title, so, I can't directly blame them. But yeah, they definitely need to find a different notary in NYC.
