I think I represent most of the US population when we all wonder what all does a title company do. There are lots of paperwork, repetitive statements and declarations I think most title companies go through, including Chicago Title. The team at Chicago Title was communicative and delivered on their promises, there was usually someone available to answer any questions we would have. My rating purely reflects on I don't know what a good title company looks like, and short of having serious clerical errors, I don't know what a bad title company looks like either. Based on that criteria, Chicago Title I don't think messed anything up. I'm still, after this transaction, not 100% clear what they do other than a giant administrative clearing house?
