I can not recommend Old Republic Title for Escrow. Aly was difficult to work with she doesn't return calls or emails in a timely manner. She also didn't seem to have the correct information regarding my escrow.

Aly Nirk was wonderful with communication, unfortunately we did not close escrow on Matllyn property but we did close escrow of 36th st., Phoenix. Everything closed smoothly.

Old Republic was easy to work with, and provided extra services to make the signing processes convenient for me. Their rates ended up being very competitive.

Very thorough and friendly

This review covers Aly but more broadly Old Republic Title. Aly initiated our relationship with an introductory phone call. She then went on vacation for several days during our transaction. This resulted in us working with what I'll call the "B" team. We discovered some errors in our initial title documents and I notified Old Republic to have them updated. At closing, when signing our final documents, we noticed the errors still existed which I thought was pretty tacky. In another interaction with Old Republic, I had questions regarding some legal and property documents they provided. In response, one of the Old Republic team members forwarded my question onto another individual. I ended up getting back a response stating, "see answer below". What was below was a convoluted and unhelpful response. Upon return from vacation, Aly called me again to introduce herself. I mentioned that we had already spoken and asked her how her vacation was considering it was to a part of the state I was from. She hadn't remembered we spoke. I'm in client service and I wasn't impressed. While Aly was nice and we made it through the transaction with Old Republic, I wouldn't consider working with them in the future.
