Please avoid this company if at all possible. This was truly the roughest part of the whole home buying process. West Coast Escrow not only gave us attitude, but also our lenders, our real estate team, and everyone in between. They never let us know what they needed from us and when.
Most frustrating, we got 3 hours notice that we had to come in and sign our final papers or we were warned we would be holding up the closing process. Presumably they could've given us a little more notice. As it was our first home buying experience, we weren't aware that all signing happens 2 days before escrow closes.
And maybe not surprisingly, we never even got a call or email from them that our escrow officially closed. We're just gonna go ahead and assume we're homeowners now. ;)
Fortunately, Redfin and our lenders at Wells Fargo had our back and kept us on top of what needed to happen. But West Coast Escrow is definitely one to avoid.
