I am sorry to hear you had anything less then a good experience with my office, we always strive for excellence in customer service! Our goal is to keep an open line of communication with all of our clients, this is the norm for my office. Our business hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and we are always open unless it is a legal holiday or a weekend. I know there is a lot of pressure at the end of a transaction when waiting to receive the lender’s loan documents, which in turn can make it a rush to meet the funding and closing deadlines. We rely on information from lender’s regarding timing to pass on to our clients. Your satisfaction is important to me. Our fees are competitive with the market in our area. Escrow fees are liability based on sales price. We do charge to retrieve, download, print and copy the lender’s loan documents. This fee was disclosed, described and approved by the Buyer in writing on page two of the escrow instructions when the file opened. We always explain our escrow fees to clients so I am not sure what the Buyer is referencing. We have not, nor would we ever pressure any client to sign paperwork they were not comfortable signing. In this particular case there were errors on the estimate that we prepared, due to an overcharge by the lender that needed correcting. The Buyer discovered the error when signing his loan documents. They were not escrow errors. We assisted the Buyer with obtaining the corrected documents and corrected his statement. There were many issues that evolved in this file and we worked diligently and professionally to assist the Buyer in closing his escrow. We have a very experienced team of escrow professionals and we all take pride in providing our clients with the best service possible.
