George is a very knowledgeable builder, but an average inspector. His inspection was adequate, but could have been more informative to me (as a new home owner). My prior inspector did things like showed me where the main water shutoff was, tagged all the gas shutoff valves, educated me on the HVAC system (where filters were, which unit ran which part of the house). He also didn't pull any outlets to check for old cloth wrapped wiring (which I have found after the fact)... That would have been an inspection item during my negotiation if I had been made aware of it. However, George was prompt, friendly, and cheap...so all in all, a mediocre experience.
