Bob Murphy

Bob was awesome. He knows his stuff and was easy to talk to about everything he presented in his report. Home Inspections can be scary and he made everything easy to understand and was honest about everything.

This is the 4th time using Bob Murphy for home inspections. He finds everything wrong that can be wrong.

Bob was hands down the right inspector for me. I was a first time homebuyer and quite frankly have 0 skills/knowledge when it comes to how to care for a home and he took his time and showed me every facet of the property I bought, explained what he was looking for, what was good, what was bad, and how to care for everything as a new homeowner. Clearly, his years in the industry shine through as he not only understands everything about what goes into a home but can tell you how that device/window/etc. is made, why they make it that way, what you need to know to preserve the home moving forward. During our inspection, he mentioned that he also teaches other inspectors working to get their certifications and it definitely comes through as he is a great explainer and I would highly recommend you take your time and ask lots of questions as he is kind and is willing to take the time to teach you. Definitely would use again and recommend to a friend/colleague esp. if they are a first-time homebuyer and really want to learn about their home and how to care for it.

Very thorough although it was a recently built home. Binder and CD given to us had all kinds of information about the inspection and our home.

He's was very good and explain everything very neatly. I will recommend Bob to friends and family members. Good excellent work. We are very satisfied.

Bob was very thorough and efficient in his inspection. The final report we he gave us had even more information than he mentioned during the inspection and it was supplemented by a full home repair guide book. He was also helpful at giving suggested repairs to remedy issues that we encountered during the inspection. Overall, very professional and we would highly recommend him.
