RHS does a tremendous job every time we use them. Dave is always thorough and educational. Buying a home can be hard, but his expertise makes us feel much more secure. Highly recommended.

I had worked with other home inspectors in DC previously, but due to COVID they were unavailable at the time I needed this inspection done. RHS was recommended to me by a friend and my broker independently recommended them, which gave me the confidence to pull the trigger. They did a great job not only with the inspection but also in getting the report out to me on a compressed time (7-day diligence period). I have now been in the home for a month and have corrected nearly all of the items RHS flagged in their inspection (the vast majority of which were minor corrections). I have yet to identify an issue with the home that was not flagged in the inspection report, and I have spent 10 years working on construction sites so I tend to notice these things. Job very well done.

This was our second time working with David. We really trust him to do a very through inspection and point out any small or big defect on the house. He's really big on educating, and as you walk through the house you feel like you are really beginning to know the house (the good and the bad). It was nice that he was able to work us into his schedule very quickly (both times that we've worked with him) and that's important in this pretty fast moving market.

David is the best. Our offer wasn't contingent on an inspection, but thought it would be wise to have one done anyway. We didn't consider hiring anyone but David for this job. He's thorough and knowledgeable and made a lot of great suggestions for us about home improvements. Super guy!

I am very glad I selected David for my condo inspection, after reading the other reviews here and across many other platforms including Yelp. He was incredibly thorough but also provided tips and knowledge about caring for all the appliances and systems. David showed up more than 20 minutes early in morning rush hour traffic, despite being over an hour away from the condo location. He was patient and kind, even though we had a brief wait before we could access the unit. His report was provided within 24 hours and was extremely detailed, with high quality color photographs of the condition of every item inspected. The deficiencies he noted were detailed and clear. If I purchase another property in this area in the future, I will not use anyone other than David.
