A little bit about Ross

I have spent my life building homes or inspecting them. Having been in the business for 13 years, I know a few things about houses. I was voted Baltimore Magazine’s Best Home Inspector in 2013 and won the Super Service Award from Angie’s List. You’ll get a great, easy to read report emailed to you quickly. I am a mold inspector and perform radon testing. I am introducing a thermal imaging camera. My goal is to show you how your house is designed to work, show you what’s right and wrong with it, and to have a fun during the inspection.

I hired Ross to monitor and inspect the building of my home to prevent me from having to travel to and from the construction site from out of town. Ross clearly understood my needs and proposed a package where he inspected my new home pre-drywall, pre-closing, and will come out again before the 1-year comprehensive warranty expires. Each time, he was responsive, turned the report around in less than 1 day, never caused a building delay, and was thorough enough that the builder didn't even push back and just made the repairs to my home. Ross' assistance, and the repairs that I got to my home as a result of his services, more than paid for itself. I'd highly recommend Ross if you are considering purchasing a new construction home.

Ross was very professional and kind. He did an OK job with the inspection; however, 2 pretty egregious plumbing issues and 1 HVAC issue were missed. The plumbing issue only came to light when we showered for the first time for a several minutes, so I'm not sure if it is expected that this issue should have been found during an inspection. We believe the HVAC should have been caught. We were very upset and tried to email Ross to see if he'd be able to help us identify the issue prior to contacting the plumbing contractor who did the bathroom originally. Ross never responded.
