This client and I first started working together on a loan for a home in September of this year. He decided not to buy the home due to an issue with the home that the seller refused to fix. This client then came back to me for another loan for a December closing on a different home, which did close. I understand his frustration as many people are not used to the new regulations that have gone into effect since the melt down in 2009. The industry requires far more documentation and have far more guidelines we must satisfy. This is layered with the new TRID regulations that went into effect October 3rd. When a client is unwilling to provide documentation that is needed to close a loan, it can cause frustration on both parties.
