Dawn herself is a very nice person who wants to help and In the end things closed in time, but the process of getting there was painful with multiple pushes to the internal timelines and mortgage deadlines in the P&S . I couldn't tell if it was Dawn, her mortgage analyst or the underwriter but sometimes it was like we were speaker different languages when I would try to respond to requests. Worse yet the appraiser they chose appraised for 10k under the offer price. This was less than 1.5% of the offer and given the margin of error we know appraisers have this seems unreasonable and added complexity to the transaction. I fault Cambridge for accepting it and not having better policies that let them round with an unreasonable appraisal.
