Overall our experience with Chase was painless and we got a rate that we believed was extremely comparable and was lower than other lenders we looked at. Some areas of improvement: 1. Timeliness of Response from the Agents (we worked with four over the course of our loan). Often we were waiting 24hr+ for responses and our agents never communicated over the Chase chat window. This would have been helpful when we had minor questions on tasks. Our realtor was extremely responsive which only made the lack of urgency on Chase's end more apparent. 2. Logging into the portal was a major pain. We were frequently logging in 3-4 times from the main Chase page before finally being directed to the mortgage page.
