I don't think I'll consider any other mortgage company that's how great Wintrust is. This is my 2nd mortgage with Wintrust.

Jason and the whole Wintrust team were a pleasure to work with on our first home purchase. They are extremely communicative, well-prepared, and got us closed within 30 days with no issue; I really don't see how the process could've been easier. Jason's expertise with the IHDA programs that we were interested in not only was a huge factor in why we chose to go with Wintrust, but he also sat on the phone with me and helped me understand the many programs/options that were available with them. This eased a lot of the anxiety I had and ended up helping us make the best decision for our circumstances. Really couldn't have asked for anyone better to work with than Jason, Cynthia, Delaine, Samantha, Heather, Jake, and the rest of the team! We'll absolutely work with them in the future and recommend them any chance we get. Thank you again!

This was a recommendation from a friend. He explained everything thoroughly and in terms that I understood. If there was any concern, he was happy to answer it. The problem came with communication. Closer to closing, the timeline had to change because they had not requested documents that were required and would have been helpful to know in the beginning, like a bank statement showing the earnest money was taken out and all of the insurance information earlier. The title company also was not informed that there was a mortgage, so the closing costs I received 2 days before closing were nearly $2k off of the final. Closing was also delayed because of this communication issue. There were few emails to my attorney with updates and I had to ask for them several times.

Jason and his Wintrust team were phenomenal. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the level of customer service that was given. They were given the task at short moment’s notice and completed the whole lending process in less than 30 days. Jason was also very thorough and knowledgeable with loan and down payment assistance products. Overall an A+ 1st time buyer loan experience.
