Steve was a great partner in our home purchase, walking us through everything needed to complete the mortgage process and being incredibly responsive to any questions or concerns we had along the way.

Steve and his team were very helpful throughout the entire process. Although Chase has some unique requirements that caught us off guard at first, the process was very smooth (the company requires a $500 deposit to start to loan application, which then got applied to the closing costs, so it is just earlier in the process that you start paying than other companies). Steve provided updates and next steps in the process at regular intervals which gave us peace of mind that the process was moving along. Through the underwriting review there will be additional information they require (clarification of name variations on your credit report and job history details), make sure you get this back to them asap to keep everything rolling. We got our clear to close well in advance of the required date which made everything less stressful.

Steve was helpful throughout the entire process. We worked with him from the start, where he took us through loan options, all the way to the end, where he was with us at closing. Steve wanted to make sure we were happy with all of our loan decisions and did all he could to make sure we understood and were pleased with every decision.

Our experience was much like a nightmare. We have been Chase customers for awhile so it seemed natural to apply for our loan at our local branch. We've learned never again to use a banker, rather a mortgage broker if/when we buy again. We felt like we were sent on a wild goose chase trying to secure a loan with Chase. The banker overlooked important details on more than one occasion which ended up pushing our closing date three times! We felt like we were not getting responses in a timely fashion from the bank or banker. We felt he lacked experience. None of what he shared about this process ended up being accurate. We are very unhappy with the whole process with the bank. It made for a very stressful experience.Do your research before deciding who to get your loan through. We've since read that Chase has been one of the most difficult banks to acquire a loan through. The advice we've been given is to use a mortgage broker in the future. DON'T USE CHASE!
