I would highly recommend working with Harris from Summit. In addition to getting us the best rate, he was so helpful in clearly explaining what everything meant, how the loan process worked, and clearly broke down all the costs. As first time home buyers, the process was very intimidating and some other lenders we worked with just sent us spreadsheets or blew through explanations. Harris was extremely responsive and jumped on the phone with us numerous times after work in the evening to accommodate our schedules. Also, we left the country for our honeymoon soon after our offer was accepted, and he gave us a clear list of documents he needed before we left. While we were gone, we were able to e-sign everything to keep the process moving. The whole process was easy and clear, thanks to Harris!

Got pre-approved by Summit Mortgage for 1.5M. Just during escrow we discovered they couldn’t get a loan for us. A total nightmare. We lost the house.

We had a good experience with Summit, overall- our mortgage agent was knowledgable and very responsive. The one or two small bumps that we did run into were fixed very promptly and without any difficulty. As far as we can tell, nobody's mortgage process goes completely perfectly, so it's important to work with people who are good at spotting and fixing problems when they do inevitably occur.
