Heather Burns

Heather was great to work with. Throughout most of the closing process (especially a few months long due to the house being a new construction) Heather was super quick to respond to questions and keep us updated on what was happening behind the scenes. We only had a little slip up that wasn't Heather's fault towards the last few days of closing but we were in the dark and had to have our real estate agent Kathy shine a light into the loan process for us. Otherwise Heather was great and I would recommend working with her and UAMC to friends and family.

Heather and her team are AMAZING. I was leaning towards an online lender before deciding to go with her and I'm so glad I chose her team. We closed in 30 days which everyone said would be difficult in a hot market due to appraisal delays etc. Her team took care of most of the back and forth with underwriting involving us only when they absolutely needed something. They're total pros and it was a relief having them on our side.

Confusing communication- some documents came through a secure portal that had technical hurdles, some came right through email attachments. She was always asking for documents to be signed, which I understand is her job, but she did not explain what they were for or have them numbered or identified in any way that I could make sense of them. I would have appreciated a document checklist with some descriptions so I could have really comprehended and track these key legal documents I was signing. This is the biggest purchase I have ever made in my life, but she acted like I was being a nuisance by wanting to understand more about what I was signing. For over half a million dollars, I think it was reasonable for me to want to take it seriously and understand what was what.

I love Heather! she's been very patient with me and I really appreciated all of her effort. She is Incredibly knowledgable, patient, easy to talk to and genuinely interested in helping me find the good interest rate. I would definitely recommend Heather!

Rates were quite competitive, she works with you to adjust other items if the rates were not satisfactory. Extremely prompt in responding (I mean she responds to emails even late at night) . Would recommend her , but still compare outside for competing rates vs UAMC.

Heather is awesome!!! I would totally use her again. She is very responsive to phone and email and would talk to me about issues at any time of day. She did a great job.

Heather was always available to answer questions. Her staff was always very polite and quick to reply to emails. I would recommend Heather to anyone looking to finance a home.
