Vince was great to work with and was able to get me preapproved fast in order to be able to make an offer on the house in the same day that I was able to successfully purchase. I switched from another lender that moved slowly even for a preapproval so my decision to switch was the right move. Vince and his team were super responsive on a daily basis to make sure they received everything they needed right up to closing. I would work with Vince again in the future.

This is more a review of the bank and not Phil in particular. We had a 45 day close - plenty of time for all things to be handled well, and yet we closed a day late, with lots of drama in the middle. The bank's appraiser quit 3 weeks after he reviewed the house, and the lending agent kept telling us things were fine, or that they were really backed up in the appraisals department. I had to follow up repeatedly to get action on items or information as to where the process stood. I asked on multiple occasions, do you need anything else from me? The answer was always, no, everything looks great, and then I'd get hit with a request for more information two days later. At one point they asked for proof that my earnest money had cleared the bank - when it had already been in deposit at escrow for 3 weeks! Very frustrated with a slow and opaque process, and will not be using US Bank for future purchases.
