We had over 60 days to close because we purchased a new home. In that time, they asked for multiple different documents instead of asking for everything upfront. They have an online dashboard which you can upload documents which had a few issues. First, my husband and I had to upload the same documents to close out the task which was redundant. Second, DHI would refer to old documents and were not specific on what they were referring to which made it confusing and time consuming as I had to ask for clarification multiple times. We also had to stay on top of them for every part of the process which was time consuming for us. We only closed on time because I stayed on top of the process. I would not recommend DHI Mortgage.
