Brandon and the Sebonic (Cardinal Financial) team's negligence led to a delayed closing which cost me several hundred dollars in penalties. I had contacted them and began the process 60 days before the closing date on a new construction house to avoid these sorts of issues. When it was clear to Brandon they had made a mistake, instead of address the mistake or even informing me, Brandon choose to cut off all communication, even before I was aware there was a problem. My closing agent even confirmed she was able to talk to him immediately when she attempted earlier that day. Even after the closing, I have not been contacted by anyone at Sebonic (Cardinal Financial). I provided their team with all necessary information 45 days before closing. However, the days leading up to, including hours before closing, they were asking me to provide the same information that I had provided for a second and third time. The closing was nearly delayed longer because they did not even attempt to verify my employment until 3 hours before closing. Obviously, I would caution anyone from doing business with them. There are plenty of other lowest rate lenders out there more competent than Sebonic (Cardinal Financial).
