Though we loved working with our LO Marge, otherwise the whole process with Chase was pretty stressful. There were multiple times we were asked urgently for documents that we had already uploaded or provided. They were slow and late to the game. We weren’t communicated well on the expiry of our rate, so when we locked in same day, we had a surprise a week later that because the markets were closed our rate had gone up the next day and so we owed $1k+ more (Chase did not honor the previous rates/points spread). There was the debacle of our employment verification which even had my HR frustrated with Chase and we eventually just took my partners income off the mortgage 2 days prior to closing since hers was even more of a headache. And lastly, everything was backloaded to a fault. So much so that our title company didn’t even get closing docs (nor did we!) until 20 minutes before our closing appointment. I’d overall say Meh. Marge was a bright spot but Chase has some pretty rough systematic issues to resolve.
