David neglected to notice many serious problems with the condo. There was an active gas leak when we moved in. The connection of our stove to the gas was installed poorly, and that wasn't caught. That's dangerous. The plumbing under our kitchen sink has required several plumber visits. The valve used to shut down the water to complete additional repairs is broken, so we will need to request that the whole building's water be shut down AND take out part of our utility room wall to fix it. The computer in our heating unit went out the day we moved in, and it was the coldest day of the year. He has also written a liability clause into his contract, making him not liable for all of these huge repairs that he should have caught, so we could have asked for credit from the sellers. We are several thousands of dollars into repairs over the last 2 months. This man is a crook.
